A Registered Mauritian Cooperative
About EliteMC
Elite Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd — Registered under the Co-operatives Act 2016 · Society No. 3242 · Moka, Mauritius. A community of Mauritians who own things together: starting with the food we eat and the land it grows on.
A cooperative, not a company
EliteMC is owned by its members — everyday Mauritians who each hold real shares and carry one vote, whatever their stake. We're registered under the Co-operatives Act 2016 and governed democratically: the members decide what we grow, what we build, and where the surplus goes.
No shareholders to please. No landlord to answer to. Just members, building productive assets together, for a legacy our children inherit.
One member, one vote. Rs 1,000 once for 100 shares + Rs 200/month to belong.
Our mission
Clean food and shared ownership for Mauritians. We believe healthy living shouldn't depend on what a supermarket imports or what a label claims — it should come from soil we restore, plants we grow, and land we own together. Member life is built on seven pillars:
The flagship project: a farm we own together
The EliteMC Integrated Biological Agroforestry Farm & Living Lab — soil-first, pesticide-free agriculture: food forests, pastured chickens, dairy, bees, medicinal plants and a sensor-driven living lab that measures everything. Members eat from it, work on it, learn on it, and own it.
Explore the farmWhat we share, we share freely
Our Grower Academy and Grower Guides are open to every Mauritian, member or not — a full course in organic growing written for our seasons, our soils and our pests. Knowledge is the first thing a cooperative should share, and it costs nothing to give away. Members take it further: hands in the soil on the farm, workshops with experienced growers, and the harvest that follows.
Membership is open
Rs 1,000 once + Rs 200/month. A seat in the room, a share of the farm, a vote on everything.
